Content Marketing

Definition:

Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach which seeks to generate and distribute valuable and relevant content to attract, acquire and retain a specific target audience. The overall aim of content marketing is to encourage interaction and revenue generating behaviour within the target audience.

It has become more important as search engines such as Google penalise static and out-of-date websites. Popular forms of content marketing include infographics, memes, guides or whitepapers, book reviews, product reviews, link pages, eBooks and product reviews.
