Definition

Pull marketing is a strategy for creating interest about a product or company to encourage customers to actively seek out your brand. Pull marketing relies on SEO and other non-intrusive methods of promotion to build demand for a brand. It can be especially effective for internet marketing as pull marketing is assisted by social influence, such as word of mouth, and content going viral.
