Definition
Volition is the cognitive process of willing, choosing or resolving to take a particular course of action. Some definitions specify that it is a conscious process but as research by social scientists show that many of our decisions are largely made automatic and unconsciously this may too restrictive for the reality of human behaviour.
As a result I have created the conversion bucket. This uses insights from behavioural economics to demonstrate the key influences on human decision making.
